University Town Center

Swirnow Structures LLC is proud to announce that the Hambro^® Composite Floor System will be used in the condominiums at University Town Center, located less than a mile from the University of Maryland, College Park in Hyattsville, Maryland. Designed as part of a large, master-planned, all-inclusive office, retail, entertainment and residential complex by Prince George’s Metro Center, Inc., the condos will feature over 100,000 square feet of Hambro^® D500 joists bearing on steel studs. The scheduled completion date is late fall of 2006. The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company of Hyattsville, Maryland is the general contractor; WDG Architecture, PLLC of Washington DC is the architect; and Fernandez & Associates of Falls Church, Virginia is the engineer.
